Jesus sat down

Hebrews 10:10-14, “By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But He having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, waiting from that time onward UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE A FOOTSTOOL FOR HIS FEET. For by one offering He has perfected for all times those who are sanctified.” Hallelujah!! The significance of this is overwhelming. Jesus sat down. No longer do we need to look for an offering to take away our sins. To be forgiven, once and for all. Hebrews 10:19-22, “Since therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is His flesh, and since, we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.” In my Bible (ASV), the words SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, are capitalized. These words are significant. The writer wanted us to see the emphasis given. Jesus’s death sealed us to come to the holy place with confidence by the blood of Jesus. Jesus sat down UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE A FOOTSTOOL FOR HIS FEET. Again, this is capitalized. His enemies be made a footstool for His feet. There is no other way for forgiveness of sin. Only by faith in believing that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice made once for all can we be confident that we have been sanctified through the blood of Jesus. Revelation 22:17 says, “And the Spirit and the bride say “Come”. And let the one who hears say “Come”. And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.” John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” Let the one who wishes, take the water of live without cost.
