God’s lovingkindness

Psalm 107:1-2, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord for He is good; for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary.” In this Psalm it repeats verse 6 four times, “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, He delivered them out of their troubles”. Verse 8 is also repeated four times, “Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of man.” God’s lovingkindness is everlasting. When we cry out to the Lord in our troubles, He delivers us. He satisfies the thirsty soul and the hungry soul; He fills with what is good.” When we dwelt in darkness and the shadow of death, prisoners in misery and chains, when we cry out to God in our troubles, He delivers us. Fools, who rebelled against God because of their iniquities, when they cried out, He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction. When we are at our wits end and cry out to the Lord in our time of trouble, He brings us out of our distresses. Verse 29 says, “He caused the storm to be still and the waves of the sea to be hushed.” God’s lovingkindness is everlasting. He has redeemed us from the hand of the adversary. The end of Psalm 107 says in verse 43, “Who is wise? Let him give heed to things and consider the loving kindnesses of the Lord.” I thank God He is with me and will deliver me out of my troubles.
