Never shaken

Psalm 55:22, “Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.” There is an account in 2 Kings 6:15-17 that says, “Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do.” So, he answered “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, I pray open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” When we cast our burdens upon the Lord, He will sustain us.” There are times we need our eyes opened to see how God is working in the midst of our struggles. Psalm 56:3-4 says “When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee. In God whose word I praise. In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me.” God will never allow the righteous to be shaken. What a great promise! 1 John 4::4 tells us, “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he that is in the world.” When we think all is lost, we have to trust God is at work for us and will never allow the righteous to be shaken. We need to hold onto His promises in faith and trust and know that God is always with us. As 1 John 4:4 says, We have overcome them because greater is He who is in you than he that is in the world.”

I pray God opens my eyes to my burdens. Maybe I can see some good. I need to let go and let God.
