Chronicles 15:1-2, “Now the Spirit of God came on Azariah, the son of Obed, and he went out to meet Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. “The Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.” John 4:52-53, “So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, yesterday at the seventh hour, the fever left him.” So, the father knew it was the hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he believed and his whole household.” This man came to Jesus in Galilee to ask Jesus to come down and heal his son, who was at the point of death. Jesus said to him unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. Jesus told the main, “Go your way, your son lives.” The man believed what Jesus said and started off back home. When we seek God, the scriptures say He will let you find Him. Just as this man sought out Jesus for his son’s healing, we too must seek God in everything. The Spirit of God came on Azariah and said, “The Lord is with you, when you are with Him.” What a mighty promise. It is when we are with God, doing His will and keeping His commandments, that God is with us. We have the assurance that our Shepherd knows His sheep. This should bring us peace, knowing nothing can separate us from His love. When we seek Him, He will let us find Him. The man asks of Jesus to heal his son. He came to Jesus. God wants us to seek Him for all things. God is with us, when we are with Him.
