Daniel 3:24-25, “Then Nebuchadnezzar, the king, was astounded and said to his high officials, “Was it not three men we cast bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “Certainly, O King.” He answered and said, “Look! I see four men loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire without harm and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the god.” This is the God I serve. The scripture says the king saw four men loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire. In the midst of the fire God is there, right beside you. Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego trusted God. Daniel 3:17-18 says, “if it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” Threatened with death, the words, “Our God, we serve is able to deliver us. Trust God in the midst of everything going on around you. Our God is able. God could have struck down Nebuchadnezzar before he had a chance to throw them into the fire. Instead, He chose to walk among them in the fire in order that the king could see with his own eyes, that the God they served was with them in the furnace and they were walking around unharmed. No matter what fire you are facing, trust God. He is able to deliver you and is there right beside you. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those called according to His purpose.” In the midst.
