Deuteronomy 32:10-11, “He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of a wilderness, He encircled him as the pupil of His eye. Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He spread his wings and caught them. He carried them on His pinions.” God finds us all in the desert land and the howling waste of wilderness. Yet, He encircles us as the pupil of His eye. The song we teach children about Jesus, how He loves the little children, and they are precious in His sight, God gave Moses and Joshua a song to tell the people of Israel to remember and teach their generations about who He was and how He delivered them out of the wilderness. The song continues to describe God like an eagle that stirs up the nest and hovers over its young. Spreading His wings, catching them, and carrying them on His pinions. This song was telling the people of Israel that God would be there to catch them on His wings and carry them. What a beautiful message. The pupil of His eye. We are precious in His sight. His wings will catch us when we trust in Him. His pinions will carry us. Psalm 41:10, “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, For I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous, right hand.”
