Yesterday, God led me to scripture about Jesus being the perfect sacrifice offered for our sins. In Sunday school a man described how he had suffered two heart attacks and had to undergo heart surgery. During the surgery he told us how he had died, and Jesus appeared to him. Jesus led him to a large courtroom. God was seated as the Judge and Jesus was there beside him in the courtroom. Jesus told the man that it wasn’t his time, and he had to go back down to his body. Jesus said you must go back as your work on earth isn’t done. The man said he didn’t want to leave and go back. He wanted to stay in heaven. He said when he woke up in his body, he wondered what he had left to do. What wasn’t finished yet? While this man was talking, I thought about the scriptures God had given me that morning to read. I had written that Jesus intercedes for us before God. This man’s testimony told us that he was in a large courtroom with God as the Judge and Jesus was there to intercede for him. The man had to come back to finish what God wanted him to do. In the dream I wrote about at the beginning of this webpage I talked about how God had given me a scripture when I woke up. Revelation 3:2, “Wake up and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die, for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God.” Since that dream I have devoted the start of each day reading the Bible for direction of what God wants me to finish. He has led me through His word to encourage fellow believers. Scripture after scripture and page after page, God has shown me that fellow Christians are growing weary and stumbling in their walk with Christ. The scriptures I’ve read are reminders of God’s promises that He is in our midst and to seek Him in all things. The enemy is attacking Christians to doubt God and to grow weary. The churches are not staying united to watch their flock. There is judgement for those stumbling. We are forgetting the soldiers who are wounded. We are looking at others as if we have not sinned in our walk with God. We have dismissed our obedience to God to walk without judgement and to love one another as Christ loves us. Hebrews 12:12-14″Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak, and the knees that are feeble and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.” We will all stand before God for judgement and Jesus will intercede for us. Matthew 25:21 Jesus says, “His master said to him ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things enter into the joy of your master.” Lord, I pray that when I stand before God, I hear you say, “well done, good and faithful servant.”
